Of course we weren't able to continue our trip by boat. So we had to walk back. On the way to the village Mr. Lehmann took a lot of pictures - and I took one of him!

Kreissler..?... My last name is Chrysler (USA). Did your ancestors come from Germany around 1710 when Queen Anne of England transported about 3,000 Palatine German immigrants to Ireland and about another 3,000 to America? If so, how far back can you trace back your line and its German origins? It is said that Kreissler is of Austrian stock prior to German, possibly around Vienna. Any connection to Johann Philipp Kreissler who left Germany for America in 1709/1710? In America, Kreissler changed to Kreisler then to Crysler and then to Chrysler. In Canada, it is predominately spelled Crysler. Your thoughts.
